Code 9001- ID Verify Only

I wanted to create this topic for anyone who has had the dreaded 9001 code and if your status changed or you got your refund lets keep each other updated here’s a rundown on my situation
Filed 1/2/19
Accepted 1/14/19
1/17/19 I got the message stating we cannot provide any information about your refund blah blah blah i tried calling but was told it was too early and to wait 21 days from 1/28/19 that time went by still no refund called again on 2/21/19 was told everything was fine and just to continue waiting called again the following week was told under review to make wait 8 weeks from the date I was accepted but this time I getting impatient so around 3/14/19 I called again this time I was told I had to ID Verify never received a letter called and made a appointment at my local taxpayer office and went in to verify on 3/22/19 got the usual 6 weeks wait time but Im hoping it doesn’t take that long any insight would be helpful from someone in the situation and how long did you wait before you got your refund after verifying

Almost everybody on ID verify is being put on a 45 day and 60 day review. Happened to what seems everyone. I had to ID verifify previous years and always had deposit like 2-3 weeks later. This year, I called and I got the bad news. 45 day review. I id verfied on march 8th and filed like 4 weeks before that.

Looking at your timeline I got to thinking maybe you have to count business days only for the processing time after verifying which would be exactly two weeks for you I just verified on 3/22 I was hoping for a update on wmr yesterday but next Saturday seems more likely for an update for me god willing thanks for the insight

I hope I hear something soon I filed 2/1 went from processing to we cannot provide information on your tax return about 2 weeks later. Called irs a week after that about 2/23 and was told I should have received a letter. I did t receive the letter for another two weeks it was for I’d verify I verfied in person with the irs on 3/5 and still same we cannot provide information message. I’m getting extremely stressed it seems like everyone s getting paid but me. My status on wmr has literally not updated in a month and a half. I’m lost

Just to give others a bit of hope I filed 2/13 accepted the same day….bar went away after about a week, message change to “STILL” being processed 3 weeks later I received a letter about verifying my identity did so on 3/11 via phone was given the whole 9 week speech woke up 3/30 with an ddd for 4/3 so it doesn’t take 9 weeks after all just some bs they tell everyone….hope this helps!!!!
