      Does anyone have experience with this code? I have this in my transcript with a date 3/29/2021.

          I have code 971 also. I claimed that rebate but turbo tax said I qualified for it with my new dependent so I don’t get what the issue is.

            I have that 570 which means hold or freez on account also I got 971 code which means letter I called IRS Guy told me it’s due to me claiming stimulus rebate I never received.It should be processed on March 29th that’s what I was told.

                It is a hold code sometimes used when more info is needed to finish processing
