Code 424, 810,811,971

Question so I broke down and called the irs about my transcript

She said the 971 code was because I created a new account and sent a notice because I haven’t filed in 2 years and now I am. I’ve been on a joint account before
But she said I needed to file a 1040x and that’s an amended return but I don’t know why but she said it looks like it worked itself out and lifted the freeze on my account… thoughts?

The 424 is requesting a closer look at possibly your credits, the 810 was a freeze on the whole refund amount, and the 811 is releasing the withholding you paid in. The 971 is a notice telling you that they are holding the credits for further review but allowing the withholding to be released. If the 424 changes to a 420, then you will receive a cp75 asking for documentation to verify dependents.
