      If you filed through taxact and elected to have fees taken out of your refund, it will first go through Republic Bank. I spoke to Republic yesterday and Netspend(where my return is going) just to clear up a rumor. REPUBLIC contacts your bank or prepaid card service in advance. In my case they contacted netspend to make sure my account was active. This is to prevent any delay in the process. Republic told me as soon as my refund was sent to them they take the funds and release it to my bank immediately. Long story short electing to have your fees taken out of your refund will NOT cause any delays. Hope this helps you.
