Netspend deposit just landed @ 9:50PM
All you prepaid debit card users with DD dates of 2/23 should be getting deposits between now and tomorrow night hopefully.

Return submitted and accepted same day 01/30/17 through TT. Was able to order transcripts 02/10/17 and PATH message updated next day from my one bar. I know we will be looking at ddd soon from what I can tell but curious if anyone who has ordered transcripts in the same situation has a date more narrowed down possibly, maybe I’m searching for some hope haha. From what research I’ve done I have seen a few people post about their transcripts showing a cycle date of 02/17/17 is that an expected ddd? And if my acceptance date is the same would that relate to my return as well or is it all situational?

Just called the IRS. The woman looked into my account, said everything looked ok but there was no disbursement showing on their end either. She could not figure it out. Stated that their end might not have updated….not sure what that means as you would think the IRS would know that. Not sure if I feel worse or better…

Checked again this morning, still no update, still on return received. Checked several sites for refund schedules etc…. I should have had my refund by now, but still nothing in my bank account….I filed with Turbo Tax. Was not eligible for EITC or ACTC( no children) with a filing status of Single. What is going on here? I have seen other people who filed on or after 1/30/2017 already getting their refunds? Why is mine taking so long?

I received my return and account transcript in the mail yesterday. My return transcript says cycle 2010405 -Feb 20th, but there is no code of 846 on the paperwork. Filed and accepted 1/30/17. Bars disappeared 2/6/17 and have not returned. WMR is still not showing any updates as of 7:00am this morning. Anyone know what this means?

How to get transcripts?
I filed 1/30 accepted an hour later and was being processed 2 days later. I checked today and it has that long paragraph stating they cant issue taxes before the 15th because of the path act. Those that are getting theirs on the 15th, do you claim any dependents? -

Still on one bar, but today I was able to see my 2016 return transcript. It has a “refund issued” date of 2/27 on it, and a cycle date of 20170605 -
Still have only one bar and no DDD. However, I was able to finally order a transcript and view it online. Transcript indicates 2/27 as the date for the refund. So, we’ll see how accurate that turns out to be.

Filed return on 1/27 and was accepted within an hour then checked back says processing tax code 152. So today is day 13 and I’ve no Ddd. I’ve seen numerous people post that they have their refund before wmr even updates? Is that true and has anyone else been having the same issue. Btw I did not have eic or child credits just regular return with home interest.
Please let me know, gotta pay bills asap! Lol

LizaZ – I have EITC – Filed & accepted 1/30, I still have one bar & I am unable to order my transcripts as of today. I’d say if you were able to order your transcripts, your return has at least been processed… or at least is further in processing than mine. You’ll be able to see your DDD once you receive your transcript.

Don – If you moved since last year when you did your taxes that may be why the info doesn’t match. Mine doesn’t match either, but I tried my address from last year & it allowed me to get into the system, but my transcripts are still not available for 2016.

I want to share this and perhaps it can help those who were arguing earlier in this thread about transcripts. You can order a return transcript as soon as it is in the irs system. A return transcript is only a copy of your original tax return. It has no accounting info or changes on it from the irs calculating ur actual refund. It can actually be ordered BEFORE your return is done processing.
The account transcript is different. It actually contains refund information and/or changes made by the irs during the configuration of your refund/return. This document can NOT be ordered unless your return is complete becit is a completed document by the irs.I know its frustrating waiting on our refunds and i hope this helps the argument above. It seems both parties were somewhat correct. But neither was lying. happy tax season everyone :-)

Filed & accepted on 1/30 – No path message, still at 1 bar. I filed both EITC & ACTC, although they are the minimum amounts it’ll still be held for verification I suppose. Filed the same thing for 10 years. I can’t order transcripts yet either. I just want to get the path message! From what I understand, that means you were approved, but you still have to wait until the 15th for a DDD.

So last year I filed 2/2, fee days later I got a ddd of 2/10, money deposited in my acct on 2/7 at 10:30 that night. Looking at my transcript from last year code was 20160505.
Does your weekly/daily status changes every year? Nothing has changed. Still claiming same child.

Ive seen several thread with people claiming that the feb 15 is just a generic day for folks claiming Eic an Ctc. And that they recieved there returns already. Just a heads up.

I may be a bit presumptuous here, but I now can pull all transcripts and now see a 846 showing return issued the split deposit with a “2-20-2017” date. Last year when this happened, I had my refund approximately 1 week before that date. We shall see if there is an update by Monday morning to the bar.

I have no expectations when it comes to getting my tax refund. I get it when I get it. I have just been very lucky. My return was extremely simple and less than 900$.

I remember last year on Feb 3rd, the same day I got my refund deposited, that their system crashed or something along those lines. I remember them saying it had something to do with the master file, which further delayed some refunds

Once again, you’re speaking about YOUR situation… What happens with you may or may not happen to others…. I have been filing my own taxes for 10 plus years, and every time I can Order my transcripts, WMR updates and I get a DDD. You can’t speak on anybody’s situation BUT your OWN…… If she didn’t tell you that this is the case for EVERYBODY that files taxes, then it was YOUR OWN personal situation… No shade, just saying…… BTW, I don’t need to do ANYTHING as a “Feel Good Method”

You sure sound like you want to work for the IRS… Just like you said, every situation is different… So, you can’t say what ordering a transcript means. I ordered both of mine as well, but my STATUS on WMR refund also changed. They are done processing my return, and now I wait until Feb. 15th. So are you gonna tell me my return isn’t done being processed? You should try and not sound so harsh and like you know everything.. The ONLY thing you can comment on is YOUR OWN PERSONAL BIDNESS!!!!! How Bow DAH????!!!!!

This is my 3rd year filing taxes. From what I have noticed 98% of people who could order their RETURN transcript got a DDD within a couple days.

If you can order a RETURN transcript, you have been processed and waiting on an update on WMR. Return means your done. Hence the word “return” . Its only available when a return is processed. Don’t let anyone tell you different. -

Ordered return transcript last night and account transcript this morning.No WMR update. Surprisingly received refund at 6pm tonight. I use Serve and get deposits 2 days early.

I was accepted last night, no bars (didn’t expect any) claimed CTC, but not EIC or ACTC, so I’m still expecting mine somewhere between the 15th-22nd, based on previous years experience with the calendar for DDD’s and the way things typically hit my bank. Filed via TT, and return split. Not getting a huge return this year, but that’s ok. Every little bit helps.
