Claiming EIC/Transcript

Is anyone who is claiming EIC or ACTC able to order transcripts today? Are you able to see a cycle code or refund date?

I’d like to apologize to everyone. I mistakenly (not intentionally) gave misinformation.

I did not qualify for EIC (as I thought I had, like last year).

I ONLY had CTC (and not ACTC). It was an honest mistake and I’m sorry!

@rtbartonie you might want to check into that withholding code on your return, that happened to me last year turns out they forgot to include the insurance paper work with my return which then delayed the process.

I don’t know how/why it happened. I’m not trying to spread false hope – perhaps it was a complete fluke but I wanted to share that I did file w/ the EIC and got it BEFORE Feb. 15th. Last year (NONE of my circumstances changed except the amount I made and paying the fees up front), I filed 01/12 and didn’t get my refund until 02/22/2017.

@WillBeas – I read through all of the IRS stuff on qualifications for EIC. I fell in the criteria. The only thing that changed was my annual income (but still made less than threshold amount)

@WillBeas – I have one dependent. I truly do not understand it. I know nobody believes me but either I didn’t qualify for it (and thought I did) or I’m some sort of freak of nature.

No 246 refund on it yet

I have w2 and 1099 and I see social security only has my w2 information. So I don’t think they are working on it yet.

Yes, mine is partially updated. I think you add two days to that processing date. So hopefully, you’ll get it on February 14th. I have EIC and ACTC as well.

My Transcirpts were partially updated today. with a cycle date of 20180405 and a process date of 2/12/18
150- tax return filed
766- credit to your account X2
768- EIC
806- Withholding
claiming ACTA and EIC set for 2/12/18 i guess I have everything beside
846 on my transcript.

anyone else with at least a partial update in the transcript claiming EIC/ ACTC

@ Elle – That’s great news……at least I think it is! I was able to view my account transcript this morning, but it has no information on it. Yesterday I was only able to view my wages transcript. I hope it updates sometime today. Last year…..mine had a processing date of 2/20/17 and I got mine on 2/22/17. It looks like you’ll probably get yours on February 14th. What a nice Valentine’s Day gift. LOL!!

I was able to order my transcripts today, and it has processing day 2/19 and return due date 4/15. Does this mean I won’t get my refund until April?

Also I do not have the “846” on my transcripts yet.

I have both credits. I filed on 1/19, accepted on 1/22. My cycle code 20180404 and processing date 2/12/2018.
