CITI BANK , early deposit ?

My account was 6$ yesterday (yes times were starting to get hard) I woke up with 195$ in my account… i can’t see where it’s coming from … if I call a live person I would have to wait 3 hours like I did the other day to see if I had an available deposit (I ended up falling asleep waiting for a person on the phone ) do any of you think it’s the 1200$ waiting to clear ? I don’t have any other deposit coming through, my tax refund hasn’t got an update but that’s another card .

@sarahi Maybe it’s the type of Card , cause there’s different checking accounts or maybe you really didn’t get yours yet. I know one thing it’s always been like that with this card ,I know the account I use to have with them wouldnt give me the 200$ in advance but this account always did even with my paychecks and everything else, so I’m pretty sure it’s her 1200$

@kaynar if that was true then all of us tht have citibank would have gotten tht 200$ in our accounts. And i didnt get it. Im just saying from past experience thts whats gna happen. Never have i gotten any money upfront before the deposit date even 200$ not with my tax refund not with my dd payday nothing.

@sarai I’m going with @unclereem because My Citibank account did the same thing and I don’t have any other known deposits, this makes me feel better. Citi bank never gives you the full amount in a deposit unless it’s cash by the atm

They released $200 of your funds early. Same as if you deposit a large check most banks will release 100 or two until the check clears. Looks like your stimulus payment will be released in a day or two but they front of you $200 in the meantime

Nope Citibank doesnt do pending deposits. If it was the Stimulus check then it would just show up for the full amount. But they usually post th night before DD. Like im expecting it to show in my acct tonight around 10:15 pm pst.
