My date was 2/26 I haven’t got my check yet. I sent in documents DL and 1040 to chime this morning and I received a email from a Henry at Chime saying they don’t see anything pending to my account.
This sucks this is the longest I’ve ever waited on a refund check and I’m 30 and have been filing since I was 17. As of now im dissatisfied with Chime services.

I FINALLY GOT MY REFUND POSTED TO MY CHIME ACCOUNT!

I SENT A BRAND NEW EMAIL WITH THE 1040 AND MY LICENSE AND WITHIN HOURS SOMEONE RESPONDED AND MY DEPOSIT POSTED. IT WAS LIKE THEY HADN’T EVER SEEN THE OTHER PREVIOUS EMAILS. IF I WAS YOU WITH CHIME, I’D START A BRAND NEW EMAIL AND SEND THE DOCS AND SEE IF U GET RESPONSE.

We received in email on spam/junk email from chime support to send copy of both filing taxes Incase you filed with spouse and copy of 1040 taxes only send screenshot of 1040 where names appear and address I had send the whole docs of taxes and they told that wouldn’t work had to send them a screenshot of 1040 and they 2hrs later they send them to me hope that works

I received a email around noon today 2/29 asking for the screenshot of 1040 and both our IDs, we had 24 hours to sent them. But the first thing they said was “ I’m reaching out from Chime Member Services regarding a tax refund sent to your account.”

I had also called chime around 9am today and they hadn’t had this information. So I’m assume it tried to get deposited at noon. They’re depositing returns on the weekend. Hopefully you get yours soon!

When I called first thing this morning the Chime CS agent said “If the IRS2GO app says it was deposited on 2/26 then you have a 2-3 business days for processing it could come at any time now..” she also mentioned that the only thing she could see is if it has been rejected from chime and sent back to IRS for a paper check.

I wouldn’t wait if they said they where going to send the email just send the the docs copy of ID on both filling taxes and just a screenshot picture of your 1040. I send them the docs and they said it would work if I didn’t send it in form of a picture! I know dumb but I called them right after and yeah I assure them verified they receive my docs and they did and 2 hrs later they refund my $. Their email is [email protected]

I have emailed and chatted. Neither agent could tell me anything. Told me to check with the irs that it has been sent. One I sent the picture that it was sent, they told me it takes a few days. It doesn’t make sense. Some people got their early with chime. I’m positive they are just giving everyone the run around and when the system went down it screwed a bunch of our deposits.

IRS said they sent it TO MY BANK not some federal reserve on the 26th it’s the 28th and I still don’t have it. We get an email from chime yesterday morning saying we had to send a copy of our joint return & a copy of photo IDs…which we did immediately & we have yet to get our deposit…we called back last night and they said within 24hrs…it’s all ridiculous bc it clearly says online for joint returns as long as the Chime account is in the primary Tax payers name so I dunno why they haven’t released it yet..

Received my dd this am at 536. I wouldn’t blame Chime or TT or SBTPG. I’d blame the IRS for the processing delays. They literally pushed most early filers, meaning anyone before the 2nd or 3rd of February, to a ddd of 2/26. That’s millions of deposits having to be hatched and released. Consider how many deposits your banks actually handle on a normal basis then consider being slammed with 10s o of thousands for one date.

Just spoke with the Santa Barbara tax group. They said the website is glitching and not showing correct information. Basically she said that they have received the deposits for refunds and there is a line and they are going out in the order they were received so whenever yours comes up in line it will be sent out.

@Nard – Nope, no DD yet. I’m expecting it tomorrow though. You typically get it 1 day early if fees are taken out of your return, and 2 days early if you paid the fees at the time of filing. Hang in there. 99% of those with DDD of 2/26 will see their money mañana.

Hello, wanted to share that I filed 1/24, accepted around 1/26/19? Or so and had still processing till about little over week ago, then got being processed for the last week or more, then finally UPDATED on WMR this morning likely around 5AM EDT, but I didn’t check till 11AM EDT.

WMR DDD for 2/26/20, but may get two days early on Serve card on 2/24/20? I guess I’m On a weekly update, because nothing changed for a week straight on WMR.

I’ve been with Chime for a year and never had a weekend deposit. If two days fell on Sat. Then I would get it that Friday and if it fell on Sunday I would get it that Monday. That’s how it’s been for me but.. I cant say for anyone else.
