As anyone ever filed their taxes and gotten their taxes deposited to Chime Checking? They say they don’t hold money once it’s been received. Not sure what to expect with this bank since I always get money deposited into my account before the actual date with my paychecks but don’t know for my return.

My ddd was 2/21/ and I still haven’t seen my refund. I went as far to get a trace number for the deposit and Chime still is giving me the extreme run around. Anyone else have any luck with getting answers?

Just to update.. I finally updated on SBTPG site at around 945 est. I am hopeful it deposits as it normally does in years past.

I used chime last year. They don’t hold anything. As soon as they get it, you get it.

Oh, and Chime have a nifty message if you call customer support pretty much shutting you down from the rip saying “If you are calling about your IRS refund, we post them as soon as they are received and our reps wont be able to give you any information”

FYI River City Bank says my refund was received and released. No deposit as of now to my Chime account.

Hey Everyone… I just wanted to see if any of you had fees coming out of your taxes and waiting on SBTPG? Last year I don’t remember not updating with them by now the day before.

That’s the part that I’m confused about. I don’t remember what my DDD was. It I did get my deposits in the evening BOTH 2016 and 2017.

Hey everyone!
This will be my 3rd year getting my DD through Chime. Looking at my account the last 2 years I got it on the 22nd last year and 23rd in 2016. Looks like mine always hit between 6-630. Never had any real issues with getting it. Hope this year isn’t any different.

I have Chime too, and this is my first year using them for my tax return. I’m over here sweating bullets! This is he first year I haven’t been able to pinpoint the dang timeline lol hoping to get it at least a little early, filing super early and still having to wait for PATH just suuuuccckkkkssss
