child tax coming separate

I just got my refund without my child credit do we know if this is coming separate?

  The wierd thing to is I have never or got a letter saying they needed any additional information never had issues before

  This happened to me last year. I got audited and had to submit proof from court regarding my nephew. I didn’t get my child tax credit until September last year.
