Finally the wait is over! Congrats to all who woke up (or stayed up all night) to their refund in their chase account! Mine was deposited at 2:53 EST. I can breathe a lot easier now. This was the fastest i ever got my return (filed fed/NY state on 1/31, fed accepted same day and NYS 2/1 and then approved on 2/5 for the Fed with DDD of today) but it felt like forever. Last year i filed on 1/22 and didnt have any fee’s from turbo tax and didnt get my fed until 2/11. But i guess every year is different. Good luck to all, see you next year!

I didn’t check until almost 6am, but mine hit today, too.
Just for future reference for anyone still waiting for a DDD and has Chase – I called to try to confirm a pending deposit and the woman acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about. If you get someone like that, you’ll probably need to speak to someone else, but if other people are reporting theirs are pending, it’s a good sign yours is, too.

@val LOL I am sure they are hating life around this time of year. I have never done taxes and had the fees out like that, so I thought that it might be helpful to mention.
Everyone was always talking about SBBT and I had no idea what they were talking about !
I think that my Federal taxes were free, but I had to pay for Michigan :( Oh well…
Glad that you got confirmation !! -

@ko, no fees at all, I had a very simple EZ return and used the free version. I pulled up copy of return, called Chase back to verify I used proper routing @ acct numbers. The second rep sees it and told me the amount. maybe the first guy is getting his revenge for the added call volume. Hope had a good laugh

@val – Did you have your fees taken from your refund ? I just figured out today that I did and the refund goes through SBBT Bank first and you can see your refund there before it gets to Chase. https://www.sbtpg.com/
I checked that site first thin this morning (2/9) and it showed my info, but nothing else. When I tried it later in the afternoon, it showed the final refund amount and that it had been transferred to my bank. Give it a try- maybe it will show that it has been processed or call Chase and ask if you have a pending deposit. 800-935-9935 just have your social security # and account # handy. -

I’m pacific standard time. I called at 2:30pm my time. It’s my understanding they get deposits from the irs all throughout the day during regular business hours of 9-5. So I presume if it was coming it would be there already.

Well , I’m hoping for a good outcome , I called chase around 3pm (central time) at the time no pending deposit. But they stated it was still too early to say that there wouldn’t be a overnight deposit because it was still early.

OKAY!!! So finally i can breath easy, just talked to chase rep. at 10:39 est. (I’m in NY) and my deposit is pending and the rep. said it should be in my account no later then 8 a.m.. In my past experiences with DD with chase I’ve recieved my deposits as early as 1 a.m.. So hopefully ill wake up to the money in the bank and a smile on my face. HOPEFULLY.

@val @thomas you have to call and talk to a representative. Just ask them if you have any pending deposits.

Most banks dont use pending transactions, most banks post as soon as received since it is all digital. If using an actual bank when they receive it, the deposit will post to your account.

-

How did you get the info? I have never seen pending transactions on my account.
