I tried verifying online and it didn’t go through. I called and was told they were unable to verify. With no help from them and a simple Google search I determined I’m unable to verify because my experian history is “thin”. I am so upset because that is the only method for treasury to verify. Never had an issue and idk why my transunion and equifax both have scores but only because the only thing on my experian is two old collections I have nothing. No public records nothing. I called experian amd they said they dont know how the treasury works but all of my info is correct and they see no reason as to why they cant verify. So I’m going to have to mail in my documents and hope I dont have to wait sixty days. Has anyone had any luck after mailing in documentation? I have a membership with experian and all of my addresses show and my other two reports only have two collections on them as well. So idk why thats enough history for those bureaus and not for experian but I am highly frustrated with this whole situation. Ive always had my refumd by feb. 20th and I still haven’t seen update on federal either. If they make me verify will that be through experian also? & are they likely to request verification because state did? I cant wait until november for a refund I’m literally getting depressed. My family will be just fine I work my ass off but they take from every check without hassle and not needing documentation so why can’t I have what I’m owed? Stressed to the max.
