Haven’t gotten any movement this weekend. Is a DDD of 2/22 still possible?

@Michael The line where you are seeing that your tax return was filed on 2-25 last year isn’t when they were actually done. I looked and my transcript last year had a “tax return filed” date of 3-05 but I actually filed on 2-2 and got my refund on 2-21. This year I filed just like you, on 2-1. My transcript this year has a “tax return filed” date of 2-25 (even though I could view them with everything filled out on 2-8) and my refund date is 2-22. It has shown the tax return filed date of 2-25 since the first day I was able to view them. From what I’ve read on here, the 2-25 date they have listed is the date that the computer puts in there to either have the file completed by or check to see if it needs resequenced. Kind of like the computer setting a deadline for itself I guess. Hope this helps :)

@rebecca I can’t get my transcripts either says info doesn’t match no matter what address I use. I’m legit hoping I just get a text that money is on card “surprise” sometime this week because this is absolutely nuts. Received my DD on 2/22 last year as well. I never changed to path or anything at all this year, I’ve just been at 1 bar

@rebecca @michael I’m not saying that this will be the case this year, or that this is a normal thing to happen. I kept checking last year, after receiving my funds, because I was curious. There has been much speculation on what is happening this year because of the new tax laws and the uncertainty of Government shutdowns. I have seen people post that have processing dates after mine, my processing date is 2/18/19, that is a Federal holiday. I assume that, unless you have a problem with your return, that at this point, the refund process is automated. Computers don’t care if it’s a holiday. I had offsets that were showing last week, yesterday they were gone. That shows that, behind the scenes, things are happening, if you are weekly, there are certain days that updates happen, again, a computer only does what it is told to do, so if it’s told to only update your file on certain days, that is all it will do.

It seems like Georgia filers are getting the short end of the stick this year. No fed update this morning and still no state update. Anybody in GA get a fed update this morning? Has anyone in GA received state yet?

@Michael, no, last year my WMR was stuck on the “being processed” and my transcripts were populated, only missing the 846 code. I received my refund 2/22 and WMR and transcripts updated a week later showing my DDD and 846 for the date that I received my refund.

@Jennifer Starr
So your transcripts said N/A No Return Filed and you still got your refund?
I’m curious because I was not able to access transcripts last year so I do not know when they updated. I received my refund on the 22nd last year as well. This year I am able to access transcripts, but they say no return filed even though my return was accepted on 2/1.
I was looking over last years transcripts and they were not filed until 2/25 according to the date on them, but it says 2/22 for the refund issued date. I am just wondering if transcripts do not get updated until after refund is issued with some filers? -
