      Filed 2013 taxes by mail on 1/14/2016, same day as 2015 return. I have a DDD of 2-10 for 2015 refund. I am supposed to get $2000 back from 2013, I filed and owe 900 for 2014, and will get back $3,000 for 2015. Will they send paper check from 2013 soon and what can I expect to receive? Please help me and God bless you all.

            If I am correct you will probably have an offset for this years taxes in the amount that you owe for the 2014 yr taxes. I doubt all of them will processed closely together. I am guessing the 2013 refund will be for the 3,000. Regardless you will get back 4,100.00 altogether at some point!! Good luck

              I have seen you asked this question before. I am not sure if I or anyone else can really give you much assistance. The only people who would be able to help would be people who have been in the exact boat before (which would be rare) or the IRS. I would suggest to contact the IRS about this.

              I am not sure why they would send a paper check for 2013 and not DD it, unless you selected it, or it has just been too long. From what I know, you can still select Direct Deposit even while mailing taxes. But, by the sounds of it, you will get back $5000 in 2 separate deposits and then will need to pay the IRS $900.
