I had no movement for 2 weeks.. last week bars went away but no change to transcripts other than from get start to n/a now for days. Just now I get a message on WMR that I’ve never seen in my life…. We apologize, but your return processing has been delayed beyond the normal timeframe.

Many are getting this. Since there are so many, I’d argue it’s nothing serious, might be a glitch, or, simply more time doesn’t necessarily mean a longer wait than normal. They are processing ctc, stimulus, eic etc. I almost always get my refund exactly 21 days from day filed. I think this message is a new generic message that might be replacing another. Again, I wouldn’t worry as I’ve seen many people posting this update!

From what I understand is since its been past 21 days since you filed. WMR defaulted to that message. If you aren’t PATH, I would definitely call someone at the IRS in the next day or so to find out what’s going on.
