      So my husband and I make too little to file taxes for the last few years but I don’t want to check married in the non filers because he owes back child support and we have custody of the children. Can I file single? The only options are single and married.

          Yes you should I have replied to this a few times not sure why it hasn’t posted or what’s going on. But if you file married from my research if you have child support the stimulus can be taken to pay partial or all of that debt. Any other state or federal debt will not be touched by the stimulus Hope this helps
