What should I state as my issue if I’m just wanting to see if I’m needing more verification or not. I dont want to be pushed to the automated line. I have severe anxiety and I hate even calling but I had DDD on 18th.

She was actually super informative. For one, you can check your WMR as many times as you want before your daily limit and not “flag” for additional ID. She said that the PATH act will hold deposited until 27th….BUT that is only for certain instituations, most metabanks or prepaid cards will see the notification for the deposits on the 22nd or this Friday. I was also told WMR won’t have a visual update until the 27th. Only internal, so it is updating we just won’t see it.

Pretty much… if you opted for a prepaid card when you filed, or used your existing prepaid with direct deposits you will get them Friday, and with certain CU and banks it will be on the 27th.

So the 18th was a federal holiday. There system would not haven given you a DDD of 2/18 since its not possible. Where did you get the 18th from? If its from your transcript that just means processing this week. Doesn’t mean DDD.

For your situation I would flat out say that your DDD has passed and you are calling to find out more.

I called them about 30 minutes ago.. I waited about 15 minutes. They are saying that we will have an update to WMR by next Wednesday and may even have our money by that date. Pretty basic info but good to know nothing is wrong

Be polite. Ask, straight out questions. If they say no, say please, ask again. Good luck.

To them you need to update your address and then they have to pull your file. The just give them your current address and play dumb and then ask if the account looks like it needs your attention. They will help… If you ask about your refund they will read scripted rebuttals and won’t look at your file.

wasting your time with the irs. They are overwhelmed, understaffed, inept and YES…corrupted. Your gonna get someone on the phone that tells you the company line with SOME exceptions. Better off just checking your bank account etc. That’s what I do.

Sounds like me! I hate calling ANYONE, surprised I’ve even been socializing on here LOL.

If I were you, I would say something along the lines of…

                            – I have had a DDD come and go, we are 48 hours (2 business days might be better to say) since the deposit date and haven’t had any updates or funds transferred. I was starting to worry and I wanted to see if you could check my return to ensure I didn’t miss anything. I know there are delays with PATH act law, and other things this tax season so I just wanted to make absolutely sure that nothing was missing or needed to be verified.

Add on somewhere that- you’re calling to ask so that if there is an issue, you can solve it asap and get the return processed quickly as you(I) know many Americans are still waiting to be processed & delaying yours longer is only causing more delay for both sides.

That’s just what I would say, I’m not sure if calling would make a difference…but i don’t know if you would forsure be seeing any code errors on the WMR site if there were an issue. I have no codes and never got a DDD, filed early and just says “is being processed” I hope you can find something out Matt!
