Guys I just got off the phone with TT and they confirmed my suspicions. The irs is BSing. I was informed the TT system detects all errors down to your name spelling prior to transmitting your returns.
If there are errors you Have to fix them prior to submitting. Unless you add or remove things like W2s. Even the the IRS doesn’t verify every box on the W2 on your returns. I guess now we just have to wait

What’s unusual to me is the amount that have been pulled it’s pretty much half the website and we are only a small portion of filers…that gives me hope that the review won’t take as long as they say otherwise they would be reviewing refunds until next year.

I get what your saying but there doesn’t have to be any errors to review it’s random selection…they do a percentage every year… Called TaxAct (been using them for 12 years) they said the same thing any errors results In a rejected return And we’d have to fix it then it wouldn’t go through..they said just like the IRS id just have to wait it out.
