i just literally just got off the phone with the IRS. i told her that i filed my taxes on the 14th, two weeks before they began accepting returns and they accepted it on the 15th and why i didn’t have a refund date yet as of 02/19/19. i told her i was already aware that i had a small offset scheduled to come out my refund and if she knew what was holding me up. she said she didn’t see any holds or flags but she could see where turbo tax was charging me too. i asked her why was people who filed after me were receiving there ddd before me and she said that the IRS process batches randomly. she said for me to call back in two weeks if i haven’t received it by then. next time i would suggest to just wait til they open completely before you file because i thought jumping the gun would give me a head start but thats clearly not the case

i think if you filed before the opening date then you will get your the week after everybody else

she also said they had limited information in her capacity too so dont call and get angry with them either because i think she did everything in her power to help me
