Called and Update?

I’m not sure how accurate this is but I called the 800# and hit 00 after selecting English. I sat on hold for a good 30 min and got a polite gentleman. My 60 days is up this Sunday. I explained this to the rep and told him I was viewing my transcripts and there was no change. He verified me and put me on hold to check my account. He came back and said my refund was in process and to allow 2-4 weeks from 4/26 to receive it! Praise God, our wait may be over! Im so skeptical at this point though, the rep wouldn’t have made that up right?

Filed 1/31, processed 2/26, review letter 3/1, 570 hold 3/5, as of date 3/12. Absolutely no changes to my transcripts at all, my review letter doesn’t even show on there. WMR changed from “still being processed” to “is being processed” a couple of weeks ago.

I was under “random review” and my review was complete 4/26, a few days shy of the full 60. I’ve never been under review before.

That doesn’t make any sense. It makes it seem as if they are purposely holding it for no reason. Everyone should have their refund in 2-4 weeks from then because at the end of May they will start owing us interest. Their clock started on the actual deadline to file, so if you filed early you gave them extra time they don’t have to compensate you for.

I called again and was told the info was correct. This rep worded it as “the hold is scheduled to be released within 2-4 weeks from 4/26. This is why there aren’t changes on the transcript or WMR yet”

Has anyone else been through this? I’m glad there’s movement but I can’t find info on the process. What I’m understanding is that the release was “ok-ed” and is in process of being granted. Once it’s granted I’ll get DDD.

Is anyone else getting an error when trying to access transcripts online? My WMR still hasn’t changed. I can’t check transcripts because of the error. Should I call again tomorrow to confirm what the rep told me on Friday?

Kind of scared to be hopefully since I’m not seeing any changes on WMR or transcripts.
