california state refund review

today i called state tax board and they said my state taxes are being reviewed, will my federal automatically be reviewed also? i asked rep and she said she didnt know because they were two different taxes

  I agree w Admin @Kimi. Also, a review isn’t an Audit, So I wouldn’t worry much! I once was under State review, for an old debt. Everything was resolved without my having to do anything.

  Not necessarily. They process separately from each other so your federal return may be fine.
