california state refund

i live in california. my federal and state was accepted on 1/31/20, state still processing and federal with one orange bar and 152 NA on transcripts, i am a weekly. others i know have already had state approved last week. will my state be approved at the same time as federal ?

I’m in the same boat! Accepted 1/30 and still on processing. I do have an outstanding ticket does anyone know if that would delay a refund? Last year I got it within a week.

Hi there… I filed my CA state on 1/31 and it was issued on the 7th.. Still haven’t received it.. It takes about 10 business days or so if you did direct deposit or 21 days if you did it by mail.. Hopefully you get yours soon..

I filed both fed and state (CA) on 1/24/20 and they were both accepted on 1/27/20. I’m on the PATH wait for Federal so I’ll check after this weekend. BUT with my state I’ve been on 2 checks (processing) ever since! I’ve seen people who have filed and already got their refund back from CA already. I’m giving it one more day before I call, which I hate doing.

You should have received your CA state refund by now if you filed on 1/31 and it was accepted around the same date. There is a sub on here for CA state refunds they might be able to answer your questions in more detail, if not call FTB.

A federal refund normally takes about 14-21 days to approve after it was accepted. If you do happen to receive it earlier then consider yourself lucky if it goes beyond 21 days then you’re probably one of the 10% of taxpayers that are getting audited.

I’m in the same boat I filed the 28th state says received processing wait a month before calling!! I know peeps that got state already within a week of filing!!
