“We are processing your return at this time. Please allow 1 month from the date you filed your return to complete processing. If we make adjustments to your return, we will notify you by mail.”
Is this a standard automated message?

Nice Lore. Thanks for the update. I figured out my firm issue. It’s just a consent to efile. No bigs.

I just got an email from TT that my form 8453 was ready and to log in to complete my taxes.im already accepted. She said the form was for my 401k credit on Cali return. I’m thinking this might be the hold up. When I look at my downloaded return it currently shows the form from 2017. She told me it will update on 1/28 or 1/29 after the IRS officially opens but not sure I believe that. It’s a form for our files not something I have to mail in but seeing the wrong date on the form of my current return has me wondering.

Hilltop legacy, Arnotts lodge and Aaron’s cottage are all on Hilo side and under $100 a night. Arnotts and Aaron’s are on the same road and at the end is a kind of hidden beach called Browns. For snorkeling on Hilo side, Richardson’s is okay but it’s better to see sea turtles and on kona side honaunau and kealakekua are good spots. And as far as volcano goes idk because I haven’t been home in a few years but I do know that the eruption ruined 2 of the 3 natural hot springs that were over on that side.

Hilo is very small and slow but has lots of great places to hike. Actually, anything worth seeing on big island is a hike. Definitely make your way to Waipi’o Valley, it’s beautiful! Do not try to drive it yourself though, it’s a very dangerous road. Either pay a local to take you down or hike. If you want more restaurants, nightlife, and tourist attractions go to Kona side, they also have some of the best snorkeling spots on the island. Enjoy your vacation :) oh and if you do drive from from kona side to Hilo side you MUST stop at the Tex drive in they have the absolute beeeest malasadas on island.

I got that form message too but just got a regular job. I also was surprised that I got mine accepted. I’m starting to think this is going to be the usual message for everyone. I’m seeing a pattern and no one else has said they got a different message. I guess it might be the shutdown and if after 30 days I don’t have it I’ll start to worry. It’s just my rental car money lol. @mari808 I’ll be there in May. Any tips?

On top of a regular job I was also self employed last year and while I was filing my taxes online it said that I’d have to wait until the 28th because part of my Schedule C form wouldn’t be ready/available until then. To my surprise my federal was accepted earlier this week and my state accepted the 22nd. So wondering if maybe my states received but just on hold until the 28th 🤔 What about you guys? Regular job with w-2 or self employed? Trying to figure out some kinda pattern before I go nuts lol 😂

Hey guys,
looks like everyone is having the same issue with their state returns. I also have the 1-month message. I don’t think I’ve ever waited this long for my returns to be approved and deposited. I looked at my bank statements and the direct deposit is in my bank in less than a week. Seems like things are moving extra slow this year.

The third guy left me on hold for 10 minutes also and gave me the same vague a** answer. Hopefully someone else calls and has better luck. I’m worried now.

First guy left me on hold for 15 minutes so I hung up and called again and the lady I spoke with just said it can take up to 4 weeks for processing. Then the 1st guy called me back and basically said the same thing, that it can take up to 45 days to process. I’m not accepting those answers when I know they can verify whatever they need to with me over the phone or tell me to fax over whatever info. I’m going to call again now, wish me luck ughhh

I called twice she looked at my refund. She saw nothing wrong and said that was a typical message. Does someone else have a different message? Sorry, forgot to hit notify and corrected typo.

@Dee when did you file? If I don’t update to issued by morning I’m going to call them. I was reading about this 1 month message from last year and some people were fine and others had to call to verify a few simple things. Here’s the number Incase you’d like to call as well: (916)845-7088.
