Ok, I’ve been wondering how daily vs weekly works. For the past couple of years i pulled my account transcripts and for 2012 my cycle code was 20120702 and for 2013 it was 20130901….does this mean that I’m a daily accelerated since the cycle codes don’t end with an 05?? And – if anyone knows the answer to this – what criteria does the IRS use to put people in those two different categories, why would I be a daily or a weekly? And, could I be a daily last year and a weekly this year? Any information or advice would be much appreciated.

I’m trying to figure out when I might see a change on both my transcripts and/or wmr. So here’s my situation – I filed my taxes on 2/13 and was able to pull my account transcript on 2/17 but it says no return filed with all 00’s, has my old address, and for filing status it says single although I filed a joint return with my husband. The only date it shows is the “as of” date which is March 9th, and from what I’ve learned – if I’m not mistaken – by counting backwards 21 days it means that they didn’t actually accept or start processing my refund until 2/17. If this is the case, I realize it’s technically only been 4 days and in trying to be patient but I need this money in the worst way right now!! The wmr website/app has been the same, stating I have been accepted, with the amount of my refund and the standard TT 152.

Anyone with information or advice please comment!! Also if you are going through a similar situation please share so I know I’m not alone, surely there are others experiencing this same ‘stagnate’ phase with no progress whatsoever!!! Thanks again for any input!! :)

          Hello AnitaTaco,

You and I must be in the same boat because I see us posting almost the same questions! But to answer your question, no I didn’t have any healthcare forms to file, due to my pregnancy this year we qualified for medicaid. However, the baby isn’t due until April 11th (and I haven’t bought a single thing for him, so we’re totally depending on this refund to get everything he will need) so there were no new dependents on this years return either. Everything but my address and actual income amounts were the same for this return, and last year I had my return in 9 days!! I’ve tried calling the IRS once, and after explaining my situation to the operator he said I qualified to speak with someone, but the “call volumes were too high” and the call ended itself so that got me exactly nowhere lol!! I am going to be calling tomorrow – if they even operate on Saturdays, I’ll give it a shot anyway – it certainly isn’t going to hurt anything lol.

It definitely seems there are a lot of people having trouble and delayed returns this year, but also a lot that are getting extremely fast refunds this year. For example, my mother in law filed her return on the 5th, was accepted on the 6th – which she changed her method by itemizing this year – and she got her refund on the 13th. Granted, it wasn’t as much as our refund will be, but it was still over 1k and I thought for sure we wouldn’t have any trouble whatsoever!! I am so caught up in the emotions waiting for this…I feel completely shocked, scared, and a tiny bit relieved that I can at least see a blank transcript!! So, here’s to hoping we see some progress in the morning, keep me updated and I’ll do the same!! Good luck, I am praying for you!

That’s my situation exactly except I filed 2/6 and my AS date is March 02, so they didn’t actually take me until the 10th or 11th. My AS date changed early this morning to March 09 for 4 hours and then went back to the 2nd where it still is with all 000’s now. Whatever that means. There are people that can’t see even the zeroed out 2014’s, so I am thankful at least it’s there and being processed.

However none of my info has changed, so I don’t know what my hold up could be. Same address, child, job, no healthcare.gov 1095a issues for me. Did you have healthcare from that? They just broke news today about a lot of people getting wrong tax forms sent from healthcare.gov. I hope that isn’t it.
