Being Processed, Still Processing, Still Being Processed

I would like to know if anyone has had bar and tax topic with Being Processed change to missing bar, missing tax topic and the message Still Processing with amount on left, ss# and filing status still on left also..then go to Still Being Processed…still no bar, no tax topic, amount, ss# and filing status still on the left. Top 2 transcripts N/A and as of date Mar 1st on account transcriot along with both stimulus amts. Does anyone know the difference in the wording between the 3? Also, I filed 1/11 accepted 2/11…no credits, no dependents..single…

@Mary I didn’t hink you would get your stimulus without verifying id from what I have read. But, you say it is scheduled? So, if you actually see a date on “Get MY Payment” then yes, you will be getting it. Otherwise it would not be giving you a dd date.

@Kg I would think thag you would have received a letter by now but a lot of people are saying they called and found out they had to id verify..no letter came tho. I did not have to enter a code from the letter. I just had to verify mothers maiden name, last years agi from tax return, last years refund $ and this years as well as last 4 of bank account. I already have an IRS account though. You could try to id verify online with no letter but you need an IRS account to do it.

@Kg I filed 1/11 accepted 2/11 ..my bar and 152 disappeared on Feb 14th and changed to Still Processing, then to Still Being Processed. A few days later received the 5071c id verify letter..verified successfully online and 4 or 5 days ago it switched to Being Processed, still no bar, no tax topic, amount , ss#, filing status still on left.

I hate same message and no bars or tt.. BUT I am scheduled for my stimulus. Do you think they’d give me the stimulus if I had to Id verify?

@brayb I wanted to update you. I got my stimulus payment but no update on my taxes. I’m a little annoyed because I IDVerified on March 1 and I still don’t see anything and I’ve seen someone with a DDD already that verified after me. I hope there’s nothing wrong with my return. Currently WMR says we have received your tax return and it is being processed.

I called today the irs lady rep said my return was randomly pulled for taxpayer protection program and that i have to wait for a letter in the mail to verify my identity. Once i verify it can take 9 weeks to receive my refund… Ughhhhhhhh

Just a quick heads up.

My status bars disappeared on 3/1. I got the dreaded “still being processed” notice.

Transcripts updated for me overnight and I have a DDD of 3/10.

WMR has no change.

@Lizagz It must still be down…I can see WMR but transcripts just load and then time out. Maybe that is a good sign that they are updating. I will keep trying and post as soon as I can see them. I don’t think idverify will be delayed any more than usual. Everyone I know filed after I did and got their refund already. As soon as I can get in to see the account transcript I will update you! Crazy, isn’t it?

Accepted 2/12/2021. I’m still getting the same thing bars disappeared 2/26/21 haven’t come back. Some are getting their bars back as of an hour and a half ago.

I ordered my transcripts via mail and one showed the stimulus payments and the other was blank.
No clue what that means.

You’ll most likely get your DD within two weeks after IDV’ing. They’re trained to say it could take up to nine weeks, but that’s rarely the result. Maybe they’re giving themselves a window as if mailing a check, or something.

I received my 5071C letter and IDVerified this morning. The agent said he was able to verify my identity and I should receive my refund within 9 weeks. Filed 01/08/21, accepted 02/09/21, wmr still being processed message no tax topic and refund amount still showing. I had to order my transcripts on 02/12 and the as of date then was 03/01/21. I wonder if they will make us wait the 9 weeks. I will update if I get a deposit.

Update: I received a 5071C letter in the mail yesterday. I had to verify my id online. I filed Jan 11, accepted Feb 11. On Feb 14th, my bar and tt 152 disappeared..went from being processed to still processing to still being processed. My $$ and last 4 ss# and filing status still on left. Top two transcripts N/A. Account transcript changed from as of Mar 1st to as of Mar 15th on Friday. Account transcripts show only stimulus checks.

Literally just checked this site because I have not updated and can’t view transcripts due to having a new number. I check my phone and my refund hit… wow filed 2/1 accepted 2/13 eic and child tax credit

In past years, there were differences in meanings. “Still Being Processed” was typically the one that requires something on your part. Whether it be a call to verify ID or something else. “Being Processed” without bars was generic for “it is taking longer than usual.” This year though, the WMR has proven itself to be completely inaccurate. If your transcripts still show as NA, then your return has not been processed in any form as of yet.

Last year I got a ‘still being processed’ and received my refund within a week. I don’t think it’a always a bad thing.

From all the years I have been here and what ppl have said is that when the word STILL is placed in front it means u ar gonna get an ID verify letter.

I dont know if that is %100 true but it is what happened to them
