Being audited

If I filed 1/19 and was accepted 1/19 but only one bar and only able to order account transcript. Is that a sign that I’m under review?

No nothing changed. Just made almost double what I made last year. Claiming HOH whet one dependent. Used my PO box as I did last year

I can’t guarantee you’re not under review, but from the information I’ve gathered from other people who -have- been under review, you would more than likely have a “topic number” (other than 152) and some sort of statement on WMR about a letter from the IRS.

It doesn’t look like it’s first come, first serve with tax refunds, it’s however the IRS determines who goes first and who goes last. Reading over the posts here for the last few days, it seems that even a slight change in information (like a new address) is affecting refunds. Did anything this year change from last year for you?

I was accepted the same day as you and still at one bar. I am no tax professional, but From what I have established, is that if your refund amount is correct on WMR, and it says Tax Topic 152 at the bottom, you are fine.

Many of the 1/19ers are hoping for an update tonight, and a DDD by Friday. At least it would make sense… Next Tuesday equals 21 days for us, and I don’t think the IRS wants to deal with all the calls they would get if it goes past.

So most likely I’m just cault in the recycled return category? I feel like I’m forgot about. Others are getting DDDs that filed later than me. When do they audit letter get sent? Would I have a different code on my wmr?

No, if you were being audited, you would have received a letter from the IRS.
