So the irs received our injured spouse form on 5/22 after we were notified we had an off set due to my student loans and all the income was my husband’s….
07/17 was the 8 week “processing” mark. We called that day and all they would tell us is that they sent us a letter on 07/13. That is it. Still no letter. This has had me so stressed out!! Does anyone else have the same received date as me? Has anyone else been told they were getting a letter and that was it?? What should I expect now??

Did you get your check yet? You should log into your account and pull your transcipts.. From reading the post, you’re looking for 846 refund issued… Mine has 570 additional account action pending with a 10/01/18, that hasn’t even arrived yet? I don’t know. The last time I called they said a manual check was requested but who knows how long that will take.. I started this process 06/18… but the IS form didn’t show until I walked it in the local IRS office 8/1/18.. I am still waiting on my refund..

Still haven’t heard a word. No letter, no update on the where’s my refund site. Nothing.

I’m in the exact same situation. They took my return for my wife’s student loans and we’re not in a community property state and she had 0 income. 100% of income was brought in by me. The IRS received our injured spouse form on 5/29 and we haven’t heard a word. This seems to be typical behavior for them.
