I have not received my payment. The Get my payment tool says that I am eligible to get the stimulus. It even says that it will be deposited into my account. @Jaguar2000. I haven’t recvd mine yet, BUT mine is scheduled to be mailed by 3/26(either a check or eip card), BUT I read their still doing bank direct deposits till 3/31.

From everything I’ve read, it seems WMP updates the same way WMR does, direct deposits seem to update on Wednesdays and checks or eip cards seem to update on Fridays or Saturdays.
I’m not sure how ur supposed rcv urs this yr but I hope urs updates ASAP

From what has been posted on here and according to the IRS the checks being mailed are due to them having a “limit on the number of deposits to the same bank account”. Supposedly if you’ve exceeded this “limit” that they don’t actually quantify, then you’ll be mailed a check whether they have DD info on file or not

UPDATE TO EVERYONE ON HERE WHO BANKS WITH BB&T an suntrust . My wife spoke with a women that work at the bank an she said that our bank was not one of the man ones in the first wave an that’s there are two more waves to come out in direct deposit. She said she believes that the second wave is Saturday an they can then deposit the money on Tuesday or Wednesday. This is just was we were told I’m just trying to help out people at ease.

Just wanted to share that my fiance is with suntrust and he DID get his stimulus on the 17th as the tool said he would.
I’m also with them but I have not gotten mine. 2nd one I got mine exactly a week after my fiance got his. I don’t believe that tomorrow is the last date for DD. I’m sure it will carry on for at least a week or two. If the tool says status unavailable or date will be provided, Then yours just isn’t processed yet. The bank isn’t holding it.

SO!!!! IVE BEEN DOING ALOT OF DIGGING ONLINE. BB&T AND THE FARTS INVOLVED ARE NOT THE ONLY BANKS THAT HAVENT DD EVERYONE YET! I have suntrust. First two times, I received my money via DD immediately. I moved in July 2020, and filed my new 2020 taxes on 3/8. They were accepted the same day and I got my refund on Monday 3/15. I didn’t change banks and if I’m receiving my refund a couple days before the disbursement of the stimulus, obviously there is no DD issue. Moving shouldn’t have mattered because it is DD and I also gave them my new address.

– I bank with SunTrust and have for years. I filed my 2020 taxes and got my tax refund in about 2 days….and I have direct deposit. As of right now: 1155 a.m. on 3/18/2021 ——- NO stimulus. I make less than $40k per year and received the first 2 stimulus relief amounts, via direct deposit, with no problems.

With the exception of people on here, everyone else I know, has received their stimulus check. I blame the government AND the banks.

704Greg Thank you for the clarification. I was so worried because all my friends/family already got their funds. But seeing this feed made me feel a little better that I’m not alone.
I also do not see a date on the IRS website yet. It just says “you are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date we will update this page.” But still no update. That DOES have me a little worried, that the IRS hasn’t updated it yet.

No it will not take 30 days. Truist like other banks offer a type of loan disguised as a relief fund which allows the bank to credit an amount of money to the customer before the actual stimulus is released. Meaning if you opt into the relief fund, which your bank may provide, your stimulus will be deducted is not yours it’s the bank because the customer wanted their refund faster. Basically an unnecessary advance

Ok so as simply as I can state BB&T has your funds. My daughter is a customer service rep. and you’ll be surprised to know exactly what’s going on. They have cleared your funds as of 9AM.Truist holding them as people are credited money through relief loan program from their banks which will be deducted 30 days later to eventually have your stimulus back in Truist pockets. For others just waiting for the stimulus and not applying for the relief, funds will be made available in the morning

It is disgusting that we have not received payment. IRS is not accepting calls because of a high call volume. BB&T keeps responding on Twitter with the same message about payments being posted on or about March 17, 2021. Their business day is almost over and other banking institutions have already began releasing funds. And I know it’s not me that thinks this is only a Truist thing. Like those who bank under truist, suntrust, and BB&T are out of luck right now.

I went by H&R Block for something totally unrelated. The receptionist said something about today or tomorrow but most likely tomorrow. Is anyone else seeing that only HALF of what you expected is pending in Online banking? We should have received $4200, but only $2100 is pending. I don’t owe any back taxes or child support. So, my payment should not have been sent anywhere else. By the calculator, we were getting $4200. I can’t make the $2100 make sense…

I have seen some people comment that they did receive theirs already and their payment status says information not available. But it’s also possible some with that status were not in the first wave of DD and it will be a few more days. No way of knowing honestly until tomorrow when you see if it deposits or not. Which sucks I know.

Also irs.gov gave me a date for march 17 2021 it may come that day then again it might be fri or monday who knows bb&t act like they can’t see future existing pending payments in the system 😔

I Have bb&t banking and i dislike the fact they are not informative with letting us valued customers know any updates on when economic payments will be sent out. I know i can’t be the only one checking and being disappointed about not seeing anything on pending approved payments. I am so switching banks
