i filed on the 11th of January, got accepted the 12th. bars went away like a week later with tax topic 152. same thing happened to my wife, we filed separately round the same time. her’s went away as well. i saw on other forums that if your able to order your transcript then that means they are done processing it and your about to get your ddd. so about 3 days ago i tried to order my transcript but i noticed my address didn’t match, and they didn’t have any records for a transcript to be delivered under the info i gave them. just for experiment i said to my self why don’t i try my old address, and it went through. once it went through it gave me the option to order my account transcript or my return transcript, i chose return but it didn’t have one to send me. so then i chose account, it allowed my account to be delivered. the weird thing about it, it was all through my old address and made it seem as if my new one didn’t even exist. what the hell does that mean? so the other day i told my wife to try it, and using the same address it recognized her and allowed her to order both return and account transcripts. which is weird, we stay in the same house, filed the same day, both lost our bars and after recognizing her transcript was available she woke up this morning at about 3:00 am with a ddd of feb 10th. i woke up thinking its no way my bars would still be missing after her getting a ddd. my bars are still missing with no ddd, and i still cant order my transcript. somebody please tell me what the hell is going on? also do anyone know if the irs updates Sunday mornings? i hope with any luck that maybe my return will be processed on the next update hopefully tomorrow morning and i’ll have a ddd.

that’s crazy, i wonder what that means cause i still show my 152 topic with my bars missing. i hate the IRS, they tell us to call back in 21 days when they owe us but if they called us looking for money we owe and we say call us back in 21 days we will either get put in jail or get our money taken by force. the justice system is so corrupt

Im in the same bout with my hubby. We filed the same day. I filed HOH he filed single. I got my money on the 3rd. He has no bars no tt 152 and no transcripts. I have no clue what is going on. The only thing I can think is that he went from HOH last to single this year. He has been filing the same kids since they were born and they are our kids with his last name so im stressing out because we really need this money.

              nope

It could be that they didn’t update everybody’s WMR last night, which doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t have a date set. I read a couple people over the last week who claimed that in previous years and this year they received a refund without even reaching 2 bars. I know you have no bars, but my point is they don’t always take the time to update WMR after they process. However, those few people who claimed that could have been trolling. It would be an effective lie this year (with so many early filers and 1/19ers stuck at 1 bar for so long).

As far as we know, it could just mean it’s still being processed. It could also mean some kind of review or something. ID thefts do tend to file early, and the IRS is supposedly taking extra precautions this year.

I know you’re probably quite anxious looking for answers, but if there’s nothing wrong with your return, you’ll get it. Sorry you’re have to wait longer than other early filers for a solid refund date. It’ll get there.

                Good luck
