I filed on 2/8/18. It was accepted same day and showed one bar, tax topic 152 and amount . On 2/14/18 when I checked it, the bar and tax topic were gone, but the amount showed. It changed from “We have received your return and it is being processed message” to “Your return is still processing”. Yesterday , 2/17/18 when I checked it, the tax topic and bars were still gone, the amount was still there, but the message changed to “Your return is still being processed”. Can anyone tell me why it went from “Still Processing to Still Being Processed”? What does that mean. I did not have the Path message..no eic, single with no dependents. Has this happened to anyone else and if so, did you receive your refund?? Thanks.

Efile February 12th and I’m still waiting for refund as of March 22. They said something was put in wrong by them and they didn’t need anything from me but still nothing

I sent my taxes by mail in late February, about 3 weeks ago it appeared on WMR app and said “Processing and had bars. Then on Wednesday March 14th my bars disappeared and status says “still processing and date will be given when available” NO tax topic no PATH message.

Yes, I had the EIC and ACTC credits. I called yesterday and I was told my return is still being reviewed and that I should have an update by March 5th,and that I could call on the 6th if I still had no updates. She said that nothing was wrong and said nothing about having to iD verify or any letters being sent. I think I was just one of the individuals who ended up being resequenced. I’ve been under review in previous years and in those cases my transcripts weren’t blank and the date changed to April 15th ( close of IRS filing) this year it changed from as of Feb 19th to as of Feb 26th and is still blank otherwise. I think I might update on Saturday. -

I just got the same message this morning. called IRS and the rep said my return will be finished processing on the 26th and I will receive a ddd then.

Does it give any unique code on WMR if you have to verify identity ?

I was finally able to get into the IRS and talk to someone (800-829-1040, 1 for English, 2 personal, 1 forms, 3, all other questions and then 2) she took forever all she could say was that texhinaclly no one is late until after the 27th for anyone with EIC/ACTC (anything that falls under the path act). She stated unless there is something wrong then we should all have our deposits by the 27th. I asked if there would be any updates and of corse she had no idea. So I guess I’ll sit here and wait another week hopefully not.

Same! Filed and accepted 1/29 went straight to the you are being processed, no path act or anything. I tried to call in this morning after being on hold for 10 mins they hung up on me. What number is everyone using to call in?

Last year I was stuck on processing until like may 9 then suddenly approved out the blue but I filed later last year too

I’m in the exact same boat. Filed and accepted 1/29. Never updated to path. Saturday my bars disappeared and the messaged changed to still processing. My transcripts have been n/a and my account transcript is blank and just had a date that said as of Feb 19th the whole time ( 21 days) it’s now changed to as of Feb 26th. Hoping I was just resequenced and I’ll see an update Saturday. As for update schedules, if you’re a weekly, you only update Wednesdays and Saturdays. Otherwise they update Tuesdays through Saturdays every day. Pretty sure most of us stuck here are weeklies. Next update this weekend. This wait is brutal.

filed 1/29
no dependents/no eic/no actc or hope credit
had bars until saturday.
bars were there (return received) and now are gone, amount is there.
It just gives the message that my refund date will be available soon.
I am agonizing over this, never had such a delay.
the online verification to try to get a transcript failed, not that I thought it would help anyway.
so technically the 21 days is up today. should I wait? I am hesitant to call the IRS and I think any CPA would tell you not to call them unless absolutely necessary. they issued a press release saying that today and tomorrow are extremely busy as far as phone calls etc anyway due to the holiday (also curious if the holiday might cause delay as well)read somewhere that IRS updates their system every wed and sat – any veracity to this? their main website says it updates every night and I have seen others getting their DDD already.

I have the same message for a few weeks now but no letter or anything! It’s driving me nuts. Called the IRS said nothing was wrong and I’ll get a date soon.

i have the same processing message above too! I filed 01/23 and accepted the same day. Only have EIC. I had one bar until 01/27 then it moved to the processing message with no amount. On 02/10 the same message but the amount came back. On 02/17 same message but now I’m able to c both transcripts. My transcript has all the correct codes but no 846. I have code 570 additional account action pending with a date of 03/05/18. My cycle date is 20180705. I think mine is being reviewed. I file with my last check stubs. One of the companies I work for was token over by a new company and thier tax I’d number changed and name but I filed it with the tax I’d I had from last year. Haven’t received a letter yet.
