Bank rejected. Paper check. Help.

This morning. I was able to order my transcripts. So
I knew my taxes were coming along. Well. I decided to give them a call. To check on it. They tell me it’s under further review. Come to find out I owed back taxes from last year. No big deal. So. I called back after I got off work to check and see if I got a ddd only for them to tell me my bank automatically rejected my refund. And now they have to send me a paper check in 4-6 weeks. So I called my bank and they said they don’t even have a record of the check even trying to deposit. And navy federal has been pretty good about things. I verified my account number with the irs and routing. And as well as navy federal. Everything matched. So I asked for a hardship. Told them I had medical bills. And they scheduled for advocate to call me. Can anyone help me on this.

I got a date of 2/22 for the check to be mailed out. Checked it. On Tuesday is updated saying the check was sent. It’s now Saturday and no check yet. Waiting on mail to run right now.

I am having the same issue. How are you guys able to talk to someone at the IRS ?When I call the number it just tells me that it was sent to my bank and to call them. No options to speak to a real person. Bank rejected on 12. Thanks!

@MammaG mine was rejected also due to mine being over 5,000. WMR still says 1121 unfortunately. .but you gave me a little hope. Maybe mine will be mailed out soon as well.

The same thing happen to my son 2/10 was his DD and because the tax return was marked saving not checking. Bank first told us it was fine he would still get it just took a couple more days. Wrong if it is over $5000. they have to send it back to the IRS. Finally today WMR say that his check will be mailed out on 2/26. Fingers Crossed.

Ddd 2/10 bank rejected it.
My husband called the irs again today they said a letter was sent out and they guy read a copy of the letter..it was just stating some thing went wrong and the deposit was rejected blah blah blah. The guy did say it was in the process of being turned into a paper check and it will take up to 9 weeks. Really? It does not take 9 weeks to print and mail off a check. Who else had theirs rejected? How long until the check was sent off?

@carmelpop thanks i got in touch with ace elite and they told me that the acount number is not found in their system so irs is trying to find out where it could have sent to and request to get it …… Nobody use ace elite they are horrible i was told my money was in someone else acount and they spent it smh

So based on the topic on the facebook page its taking 7-10 days roughly… depending on how fast they send the payment back to the IRS… im waiting as well.. my ddd was yesterday and I called the bank to confirm that it was rejected. @Cheyanna janow @Jasmine

if you find out anything pls update, I’m going through same issue except the bank rejected mine because off a different name on the account. I called IRS today and they can’t tell me anything until after my 21 days after acceptance is up, which is on the 26th

I had a ddd of 2/10 i had my money going to ace card only thing i did was provided wrong acount and routing number bank said 6 business days to send it back monday was a holiday so cant count that day irs said it could take up to 3 weeks just for their system to update that my funds was sent back and another 2 week to mail check i dont know whats going on

Anyone understand this? I had a DDD of 2/10. Bank rejected it. Got my transcripts in the mail today and it says refund issued 2/22. But when I check WMR it still says the code 1121 blah. And I called the irs and all they could say is it has to reprocess. So will they most likely mail my check on 2/22? Or does anyone understand what that means?

Here’s my story.
Filed 1/7 accepted 1/11. Processed 1/19

Approved 02/1 with ddd 2/3
Bank rejected and sent back on 2/5
Wmr updated back to 2 bars on 2/7 saying paper check will be sent BY 2/12.

Mailed yesterday on time on the 12th.
Expecting it by wed…Fri at the latest. Others I’ve talked to on Facebook had same story for mailed on 12th. Good luck! ;)

Well I actually logged in today and checked my wmr for a random reason. And hey there it is. I’m approved and it says it should be sent by the 22nd of this month. Question is. Will it be sent before then or what.

I had the same thing happen to me this year. My bank rejected it due to wrong info on the account.

accepted 2/1
DDD 2/10

IRS sent my refund to green dot, it was rejected and sent back to them on 2/8. I called the IRS on 2/10 and spoke to someone and they asked for my information and issued a check by mail. They said I should have it in 7-10 days. This also happened in 2010 with a different bank. I had my check within 4 days of talking to them. I’m hoping for the same results this year.

I was told this samething. I’ve never received a ddd so far this tax season. My bank said in the last 90 days they haven’t had anything come in and then be rejected. IRS keeps saying it hasn’t been sent, but then says my bank rejected the deposit. I don’t understand because they are contradicting themselves. Idk what to do because I even verified my information with a rep and everything was correct. I’m truly over this tax season.

Bump. Was told my info I provided had to be verified so they can take up to an extra 3 weeks but I should have a paper check mailed out by the 29th.

@jeff Anderson- my refund was rejected due to wrong account information, I was scheduled to receive my DD on Friday (02/5) I checked WMR this morning and a check will be mailed to me next Wednesday (2/17).
