Update: I called IRS today. They told me the money was deposited in my tax preparer’s account not in mine. Then I called my tax preparer and She told that she had the money since feb 26 and told me to pass by and pick up my check which I did today. I am so happy to see this through. I just got off the phone with BOA. She said it can take 1-3 business days to post to our account from the time it was sent to the account. They deposit it directly into the account and they do not hold it. She said it could post anytime today (lies) if it doesn’t post today she said call the irs tomorrow because it could be rejected. Only ask for a trace if you checked your account and routing number 1,000 times. Because once you request a trace on your refund the IRS will freeze it until they find it I guess. So it won’t be frozen until you request a trace on your refund. But I know it’s an error on Bank of America end

Because of the type of direct deposit method they use most wont get their refund until normal business hours today starting at 9 AM.
WMR doesn’t update from 330-6 check again in 5 minutes and you might see an update no promises.

I have used BoA for, well, pretty much for as long as direct deposit of income tax refunds has existed. And they have never deposited early or late, always exactly on the day that WMR said. One year that was even a Saturday but it still posted on that date. For me, in Florida, Eastern time zone, it’s somewhere around 5-6 a.m.

Tax refund day is the one day a year that I don’t have a hard time waking up when the alarm goes off!!! :)

I have Bank of America and mine never hits until between 11pm-3am the day of my DDD. My DDD is 2/26. I don’t expect it until close to midnight or after. I’ve used them for 5 years and they never deposit early.

Well from previous years I’ve always got mine a day before between 3-5pm but it’s surely not happening this year seem like! BOA will release soon as they get it. I’ve never had a situation where it held until the next day so if SBGT releases it then BOA will post DDD 2/26

I used BOA in the past and they never deposited refunds early…I always had to wait until the day of my ddd.
