As of “date “ on transcript meaning?

My transcripts on 2/2/2020 had no as of date and no zeros nothing… all blank. I just checked them today and now they say “ as of 02/24/2020”.

What exactly does that date represent does anyone know? I looked at past ones and there is absolutely no pattern that I can see but I also had to file an amended last year so those numbers are way different.

There are also the regular zeros in place now that weren’t there before so it’s giving me hope it’s moving along! I was just curious about the as of date meaning.

I ordered a new transcript on February 9th. Changed from as of date from 2/17 from transcript from February 1st to as of date February/24 Still says no tax return filed. I am wondering if this is because I had to fax form 1095a and 8962 and did so on February 4th. Maybe the date changed and will be processed by then.

Generally that processing date is when the IRS should have your return completed with a DDD BY. Some will get a DDD before that date, some after. Really depends on your cycle as well. I know in previous years I’ve had it come before my processing date. Generally a few days before. I guess we’ll just be hopeful for this Friday or Saturday! Good luck to you.

I have the same date.. I filed 2/3, accepted the same day.
Just was able to view transcript with a code of “20200605” and date of 2/24. So not exactly sure yet myself

Really not sure..
Last year, mine said ‘As of 02/25’
I received my refund on 02/27

This year, it says As of 03/02
