I’ve posted previously that I’ve had no movement on transcript’s since being accepted 1/29.. just blanks & n/a’s.
The only thing that HAS changed is my ‘As of’ date… I know this is just an estimation for irs processing & can change multiple times.
If my As of date changed from 2/12 to 2/26 last Friday, does that mean I am a weekly? Just curious if that date can change with no cycle code association or if it’s a clue as to what my cycle code is? I’m grasping at straws at this point :(

Mine were the same with transcripts and as of date. I woke up today and my transcripts were completed with 2/22 DDD. Hope you all update today too! I was accepted on 1/29th and my transcripts were blank too until today and same as of dates on the Account. Good luck all!

@busterbrown. Exactly right. I’m the same cycle code as you,and most times I am a weekly. But last year I was an 04…daily. This time I’m back to 05 but still daily.

The as of date is an internal date to calculate interest, penalties, balances owed etc. Ignore it unless you owe something in past years (look at your old transcripts and see if there are codes with dates later than your past refund issues date…itll give u insight should you owe, or if they have tried to reach you for old tax stuff)

Cycle code ending in 05 is not always weekly. In SOME cases (as mine in previous years) you can be a daily too. Why? I don’t know, but it’s true. As for processing date, its called resequenced when it changes back and forth or later. Meaning its projected date to return to the file to process should it not be processing or if they are reviewing it manually.

What can my IRS cycle code tell me?

The first thing the cycle code tells you is whether you were placed into a daily or weekly batch cycle. Here’s where code cracking comes into play. If your cycle code ends in 01, 02, 03, or 04, you’ve been placed in a daily batch cycle. If your cycle code ends in 05, you’ve been placed in a weekly batch cycle.

I’m weekly as well and accepted the same day as you. My as of has been sitting on 2/19 since being accepted. If your cycle code has 05 at the end that means you’re weekly, however you’ll be going off of last year’s transcripts if you have no movement for this year.

I’ve been 05 for at least the past 3 years but I don’t know if it’s changed.
