As of date

Hello all. I have been checking transcripts and wmr regularly. Today I noticed that my account transcript has an as of date of March 29, 2021. This was previously at January 18, 2021. Has anyone seen movement after seeing a change in their as of date? Why would my as of date be in the past? Transcripts still say no record of return filed. WMR no bars and processing. Thanks for any input

My as of date was 4/26 changed to 5/24 and changed back to 4/26???

Good Morning! Checked my transcript for a month now As of Date has been May 10, 2021 today it has changed to 5/31/2021 so something said look at your other years transcript and YUP they all say May 31, 2021 someone fell asleep at the wheel at the IRS so don’t know how long for them to discover they have a problem or to fix it or if it helps move our dates back to where they were: Oh and for reference I filed and was accepted in Feb.

My as of date changed to May 10th, called IRS on 5/12 for update. Still in Errors Dept. That date means nothing.

Filed 3/7, accepted same day
Lost bars on WMR end of March
N/A on transcripts

My As Of date changed from May 3 to May 31.

Nothing else changed.

I am wondering the same thing. Not so much the As of date being in the past but what the As of date really means. My As of date was May 03, 2021 every day until today. Today when I checked it has changed to May 24, 2021 but nothing on the Account Transcript has updated except for that. The only information on the 2020 transcript that shows is the stimulus information. What does the change in the As of date mean since nothing else on the transcript has changed?
