Here it is Saturday 2/13 and the refund date for 2/17 was just released and gee surprise su…freaking…prise, AGAIN I am stuck on 1 FRACKING BAR. I did not have Obamacare. I made below the filing threshold. WHAT THE FREAKING HELL TAKES 3 WEEKS TO PROCESS A SIMPLE FREAKING TAX RETURN? Is IRS stupid or just inept? I even called to see if they needed my tax exemption number for Obamacare and got “Please wait 21 days…Please wait 21 days.” SCREW THAT.

Current Date: 2/13 (17 days later)
Next DDD: 2/16 Didnt make it. Next one after that: 2/17 Again didnt make this one…and it’s my 21 freaking days.

And what makes it better is that nearly 1 1/2 weeks ago the State processed my State Return. They took out their offset AND now they are refunding me the remaining amount…ALL in the time it has taken IRS to process my tax return. Oh wait, they still are processing it. Never mind.

Called on 2/15 and was told they seized my refund on 1/30 over Obamacare to which amazingly I am exempt but they are still trying to take the $695 amount. So now I have to call them back on a phone with no minutes because my cell provider is magically having technical difficulties and blah blah blah. And they sent the letter to a very very very did I happen to mention very old address I havent lived at in a long time. So needless to say I am kinda screwed atm and it gets better is that I am exempt from the penalty. I made under the filing threshold AND their cheapest plan was 1% over the minimum exemption percentage for income. (their cheapest is like $75 with subsidies. That would be $900. Well the filing threshold is $10,300. And if you do the math ($900/$10,300 = 8.7378640776699%) which is 8% or higher.

Jb I called and tried but they would not even allow me to try and told me to wait 21 days to see if it went through. IRS this year is just….(at a loss of words) calling them idiots would just do the idiots a disservice. And no update last night either. Go figure

I also made below the filing threshold and no ddd for me either. I cant order return transcripts either. I had insurance through the marketplace for 2 months and the last 3 months had insurance through my employer.
