I have regular netspend. I’ll have to call them and see if they’ll do that.
Sugar bunny that very well could be why you don’t have any issues with large sums going in… I was told to have premier you have to have your paychecks direct deposit on to the card and I don’t… if I only had known all this b4 hand…

Do you have regular netspend or all access? The all access card doesnt have a dd limit.
If its the regular netspend card, just call to have your limit increased. Most if the time they will automatically do this for tax refunds but I’d call if I were you, just to make sure.

Mine came a day early, there was no hold it was fine and deposited to me. I believe we should be fine they should tell ppl about the limit before we order cards for tax refunds

I sure do hope they bypass it! I saw online that netspend allows 15,000 a month so maybe they’ll just hold it a few days then approve it ๐ค๐ค when I called them they said I would get a text message saying it’s pending then to call corporate to see what they will do but I have to wait for that message ๐ if I wasn’t having major surgery I think I’d be a little more relaxed but I am depending on it this year big time! Thank you for all your help and hope ๐ tax season can be so stressful! Lol

In years past i’ve seen limits bypassed. Walmartmoneycard has limits of 10K and my best friends step dad got 12K. He was freaking out too but it came through. Id call and see what they suggest.

I don’t think it can be transferred this late either ๐ I guess all I can do now is cross my fingers and hope for the best!
Thank you! -

It still might go through. Don’t lose hope until you see its not in your account but dont get your hopes up either. Wow now thats a paradox.

I don’t think you can have it transferred this late. Sometimes it will go through even with the limit. But in the case it does not Kayla is correct the bank will reject the ACH and the IRS will then issue you a paper check. That could take weeks especially with how backed up they are this year.

I was hoping they wouldn’t reject it. I have major surgery on march 5th and was hoping to have this money to support my kids while I recovered. I guess I’ll have to psy closer attention to things like that next year… thank you!

If your refund is bigger then your daily or monthly deposit limit is then the bank will reject ur refund and send it back to the IRS then the IRS will cut you a check and mail it to you. Usually they tell you to wait like 6 to 9 weeks maybe a little less but that happened to my bf a couple of years ago his deposit limit was 5000 and his refund was just a little bit over that and it only took him 2 weeks or less to get the check in the mail.
I seen someone else say they thought they could call and have the direct deposit changed to a different card or bank but I’ve never seen that happen so I’m not 100 percent sure if you can or cannot do that.
I do wish you luck though hopefully you get it through.
