Anyone use Walmart/ Green Dot for direct deposit?

Anyone using Walmart/Green Dot for refunds? and did you use it last year. is it anygood

I used Green Dot last year and did not have any issues receiving my return. You just need to make sure that your name and SSN are associated with your Green Dot account to receive your direct deposit, but this is true with any bank.

I too have used American Express bluebird for many years to receive my federal and state refund up to 2 days before the actual deposit date but this year my federal has not deposited early. I have a DDD of 1/31 and as of this morning my deposit has not posted. I called AMEX bluebird customer service and they told me to wait until 12pm EST for it to post. Most times, my deposits post either early in the morning on late afternoon. I’m keeping my fingers crossed there are no delays.

I used the Bluebird American Express prepaid card through Walmart. I haven’t had any problems with direct deposits for my refund’s in the last several years. The direct deposits are sometimes even received a day or two before they are scheduled to.
