I know many people (including myself) filed their taxes early, weren’t processed before the 3rd stimulus, and so the IRS went off their 2019 tax returns instead of 2020, resulting in them being shorted for dependents claimed, either a new baby or in a situation where parents rotate the dependent status for their child(children). I have read people who were shorted would receive the remainder of their 3rd stimulus about a week after their refund.
Has anyone in this situation actually receive the balance of the monies owed?
