Anyone receive dd before ddd

I’ve been seeing a few post where people have received their refunds ( either from state or federal ) earlier than the direct deposit date given. Has this happened to anyone else

Sean I’m right there with you. I’ve had the Paypal card about three years now and absolutely adore it. Not only is it perfect for direct deposits but I love the instant transfer capability from (regular) Paypal, where I have near-daily amounts coming in from Ebay sales. I have literally had checkout moments where my total bill came to more than I had in cash, so I whipped out my phone and transferred the money in seconds. The only thing I don’t like is how they no longer display your running balances on the transaction page of their website, like what this and that transaction made your balance. I can think of no reason to remove that basic feature. Regular (predatory) banks have done it as a way to keep customers confused and unaware they were using re-ordering software to cause overdraft avalanches (I know this because a law firm used my fastidious print-outs of summary pages along with kept receipts as evidence in a class action suit against my bank, and we won!). But up to now Paypal Prepaid has not appeared thusly predatory, so the removal of running balances makes me wonder if they’re going to ‘ease-in’ shiesty stuff. Keep your eyes open.

Last year and the year before that, we got our money before the WMR even updated. Last year I checked it everyday and just happened to check our bank account and noticed we had money but the WMR didn’t give us a date.
I wish I had pictures, I think this year I will do that if I experience the same thing happening again. The year before that, same thing as well.

The WMR updated the day after we got our money and said that we would be receiving our money the actual day we got it. Basically, I checked the account on the 21st and we had money and the WMR updated the 22nd for us with a DDD for the 21st.

I think its just best if you keep a close eye on your bank account or wherever you are having your refund deposited.

Last year we got out DD 2/16/18 at 536PM. WMR didn’t show a direct deposit date till the next day. We have our return DD onto a prepaid PayPal MasterCard which is ran by same bank as netspend. What I think happens is once your transcript gets that code the direct deposit notice is sent out to banks etc. Love my PayPal prepaid card. As soon the get notice of a deposit or refund it’s in my account.

Every year we get our deposit earlier then the date given and some of the times we gotten our refund before the tracker was even updated. It’s a crap shoot.

That was always my situation the last 2 years…always had my refund even before WMR updated….
