Anyone know about account transcripts?

I cannot order my transcripts from my new address this year. It will only allow me order my 2016 account transcript.. No 2016 return transcript, under my old address. I’m trying to figure out if this is normal or if I should be worried at all. I don’t know why it would still be under my old address. But I filed on 1/13 accepted on 1/17 and lost all my bars on wmr on 1/28 with no movement since. I’m also a weekly so I know I wouldn’t see updates on wmr until Saturday morning.

On the account transcript where would the code 846 be. . I was also able to pull my return transcript and it has 20170505. What does that mean?

dont know the answer to that one, never heard of that happening. normally when your able to order that means they are done processing. in your case though, you said your bars are missing. are you getting the path message when you check your status? if not and you just have missing bars it means your flagged, possibly for identity theft.

I understand the transcripts… What im trying to figure out is why I can order them for this year under my old address and not my new one I used to file my return this year.

@Teetee my bad for not explaining well enough what i was trying to say. when i say their being flagged i was talking about the missing bars. transcripts will be available once their done processing it, but if you cant that means their just not done. if you cant order them and you have the missing bars, that means its a reason why its not done processing. because of the fraud that’s been going on allot of random people been getting flagged. i don’t know how they make their picks but i was one of them last year. i kept trying to order my transcripts but they were not available. i had to wait 21 days before they could tell me why my bars were missing and why i couldn’t order my transcript. i kept seeing people say that it meant i was flagged for id theft and to just call the id theft hot line, verify my id and get it out the way. they said if i did it’ll be processed a day or 2 later but i didn’t listen. so after 21 days i called the number to verify my identity, a day later i was able to order transcript like people told me. the day after that i had a DDD. so if your smart and want your money on time, you’ll learn from my mistake and just call and verify it. all your troubles will go away, trust me.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, hoping tomorrow I’ll be updated and I’ll be able to order them with my new address. Id really hate to be flagged for anything lol we all need our money.

It honestly means you are not updated in there system because it would allow to you to pull/order transcripts based off your new address if the process was complete at this point. Possibly still processing!!

That’s NOT true, I order mine every year & NEVER been flagged

that means you been flagged for id verification. that happened to me last year. no need to call the irs because they are going to tell you they cant look you up until after 21 days of filing. its all bs to keep from doing work. this happened to me last year. i waited until after my 21 days and they finally told me i had to verify my id. they wanna make sure you are who you say you are before they send you all that money because allota frauds out there messing things up for the ones who are innocent. they dont trust so well anymore. soon as i verified i got my ddd in 2 days. my advice to you is either sit tight or go ahead and call the id verification hotline and get it over with, that way the process will proceed. why sit and wait til 21 days when 90% of the time thats whats pausing the process.
