Anyone here from Indiana?

I got Federal Accepted after filing on 1/22, but nothing from state yet. Anyone else file with Indiana state yet?

They actually took over 700 dollars in state taxes from his unemployment with was around 7k al together. He paid more into state than he did for federal in his unemployment. It is very strange. I am going to try to do the paperwork myself and see if it is the same.

Nope nothing and accepted 1/28. It really shouldn’t take this long. I have seen very few people with a DDD from Indiana. It’s all computerized, it should only take 3-5 days in my opinion. They are so worried about identity theft that it makes everything slower

Woke up this morning with a ddd of 2/11 filed on 1/15 accepted on 1/16

The last time my husband drew unemployment we also requested taxes be with hel, but only federal were. No state or local so it also affected our state return that year.

So my husband and I have always gotten an Indiana refund, but this year it is saying we owe. The only different this year is my husband drew unemployment for about 6 months but he paid taxes in from it. Anyone else having this issue? We made under 50k together and paid in around 1500 to state.

My stated got accepted on 1/18 and deposited the last month of January. Federal still processing.

My state shows that it’s processing on the refund tracker, my husband’s social still doesn’t show that they received anything so assuming mine hasn’t been looked at yet.

I know it’s still very early and I don’t expect to see an update for state for a while! However, I’ve never had it take 3 days to be accepted for state…thought that was interesting.

Here in Indy. Filed my state 1/17, accepted 1/26, checked the Indiana wmr, says it’s still processing as of today, hopefully we’ll get an update soon.

Filed Indiana state taxes thru turbo tax 1/23 was accepted today 1/24

Go back to forums and down to the state section. Lots of states don’t update until IRS opens on 28th
