I called again today because my bars are still missing with Tax Topic 152 showing on WMR. The first lady I talked to last week when my 21 days were up told me that nothing was on my account – it was just waiting to be released. I called again and another person said the same thing, and said if nothing changed in a week or two to call back. I called back today and talked with someone. She told me that my return has a hold on it with code CP75D, but that the letter won’t be released until February 29th, and I’d probably get the letter the second week of March. My dependents, my income and everything have been the same for years, so I don’t know why this would happen. :(

Is it possible that wmr will keep the TT152 showing on there even when there is a supposed CP75D? I am so hoping she was making that up or something. I don’t really think anyone would make up that sort of thing, but I can be hopeful I guess. Is it possible that they may release a partial refund but not the part that is affected by whatever they are auditing?

I got my letter in the mail from them today – it is not a CP75D, it is a CP05 and it says (literally) that I don’t have to do or send anything in, I just have to wait for them to review it , and that they will be finished by April 14. I am bummed out by this :( I was hoping I’d be able to send in whatever they needed and get our refund back

You will be required to prove your HOH, EIC eligibility, and dependents.

I didn’t receive that code, only 152. I verified my ID successfully and the info still reads the same, nothing has changed. The rep at Tax Payer Protection said nothing would change on that screen but it would be up to 9 weeks for my return to process… Doesn’t make sense but then again nothing they are telling most of us makes any sense.
