Obviously this year is a huge mess but in previous years, nothing updated for me and I still received my DD. Updates came about 2-3 days AFTER receiving my refund.

I filed with Turbo Tax on 1/23/16 and it was received and accepted within an hour of my e-file. I used direct deposit into a Bluebird card from Walmart. Everything I have checked just shows that my return was received and being processed. Last night at 12:19am I received an email from Bluebird and my federal tax refund was deposited onto my card. I have checked the IRS websites and Also called the 800# to see if by chance anything updated but it still says that my return has been received and is being processed. I just wanted to post this so people are aware that the IRS might be having a lot of problems with their system updating correctly but to check their accounts where they had their refunds direct deposited…..your refund might just be there! Good Luck!!
