ANYONE GET A AUDIT LETTER YET??

I WAS TOLD I WAS GETTING A LETTER TO VERIFY SOME INFO ABOUT MY DEPENDENT & MYSELF SO I CAN BE ABLE TO GET THE EITC & ACTC .. STILL HAVENT GOTTEN IT. WMR DOESNT HAVE ANY BARS & IT SAYS “WE HAVE RECIEVED YOUR TAX RETURN & IT IS BEING PROCESSED.” FILED ON 1/22 & ACCEPTED SAME DAY.

i saw someone say that they were not sending those letters out until mid march? If thats true thats messed up.

I had the processing message then path then back to processing with no bars.

Chazio who did you file with? Did you ever have a different message on irs.gov before the processesing one or bars before it?

@chazio me too by 18th and nothing just tried call and was told due to high volume they couldnt answer call back later or tomorrow

They audit people all the time during tax season.. not getting your check is basically getting audited

No I haven’t checked my transcript cus I spoke to irs representative so I’m just waiting on the letter

Verify is not an audit. They don’t do audits during tax season. You know, you can do research online instead of getting false information. People are so lazy. Verify is different than an audit

I CALLED THE IRS BECAUSE ITS BEEN 21 DAYS SINCE & THATS WHAT THEY TOLD ME I SHOULD BE GETTING A LETTER IN THE MAIL SOON.
