      Filed my return on 2/2 w/ TT. Was accepted within an hour. Lost bars on 2/4 on WMR. By 2/10 I was little worried when I saw that 58% of the people filed w/ TT on the same date as me had received their returns. I found this website & learned about the transcripts. I went on the IRS site to order my transcript & was give the message that they were unable to process my request I needed to contact the IPSU (ID Theft) Department. I called & spoke to a rep who told me that she didn’t see any flags on my account. My transcript was not available b/c my return wasn’t processed. & she told me it was accepted w/ the IRS until 2/3. She told me I needed to wait my alloted 21 days. I was persistent on checking about the ID Theft & she looked a little further & told me that it looked like there was an issue with my PIN last year that cause this to be flagged. Ok – Thank you!
      After reading some more on this site I was still a little uneasy so I called back. This time I spoke with a rep that told me she didn’t see any flags on my account – she verified who I was & told me it was just taking a little longer for some this year. To wait my 21 days. OK – Thank you!
      Continued to check daily on WRM – Still the same.
      On 1/17 I called & spoke with a rep who was very rude. He told me that I needed to wait my 21 days as he was sure the reps in the past had told me. He said he did not see any flags on my account for ID Theft. OK – THANK YOU!
      On 2/24 I called back b/c my 21 days were over. I spoke to a rep who told me my return was being processed. I asked about the ID Theft & he told me that there was a new feature added to their system to help eliminate ID Theft. He said some are related to a 3rd party issue that was reported to them. He used Target security breach as an example (which I fell under b/c my bank sent me a new debit card). He looked into my account & said that sometime in December there were multiple unsuccessful attempts to get into my account through the online IRS website (not me) so that flagged my account for security purposes. He said that this had happened w/ the “hackers” in some cases. He told me it was in the review process now & had been since 2/9. What they have to do is wait for the actual W2 to be received in their office so it can be verified against my returns b/c so many people use bogus W2s. He said once it was received & verified I should then go back into the processing phase. He said to allow 6-8 weeks for the review. He said that doesn’t always take that long but to prepare for that.
      UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH – I hate to say that I rely on this return but I do. I’m a single mother of 2 teenage girls & I need this return. I was suppose to have a medical procedure 2 weeks ago but had to put it off due to not having this money. I’ve never had an issue in the past with getting my return. I have seen several negatives this year regarding TT & I will no file with them again in the future.

      Anybody else in the same boat as me?

          Any luck? My wording has changed from “Your refund is still processing” to “We have received your refund & it is processing” … I’m hoping this is a step in the right direction.

            I was flagged. Still no return, and I have a TA representing me.
            Discouraging, I really need my refund. I too put my eggs all in one basket. My husband is very sick, and the bills keep on piling. Praying that I get good news this week..

              @MomIn916

              I just checked it. My message is now “your tax return is still being processed”.. I don’t know what they want me to take from that. It’s seems like they are trying to be funny..

                  I’m basically in the same boat.. My husband and I filed.. One eic.. Filed 1/29 and accepted.. Irs says they got it 2/2 lost bars 2/5.. Contacted advocate to be safe 2/8.. They verified my identity 2/17.. 2/19 requested transcript by mail. Recieved them 2/26 they were blank. WMR still processing date when available. We really need this anytime soon would be great..

                  IRS no help always bs. Doubt they even look at accounts.
