      I filed on 2/28 and chose the Turbo Tax Prepaid card for my refund. I am going through removing 2 fraudulent charges on my bank account causing me to choose this route. What are/were your experiences with this option for this tax year? I’m reading awful things about people not receiving a card at all.

          I got the NetSpend card from turbo tax. Got the card in good timing and did get my refund a day early. If u chose to pay your fees with your taxes thats where ppl are having the biggest headaches. Bc Turbo Tax goes thru a third party bank to pay the fees then that bank releases the rest to you. But I haven’t had any trouble with that except when that bank receives that money and take their fees. It still takes hours before they release them onto your card. But they do release them that day. It’s just the anticipation that kills

            can’t really tell you if you get the deposit early as the irs mailed me a paper check for an unknown reason but I did get the card. Took about two weeks.
