Anyone been told they are in an overflow batch

I finally got through to a very nice lady after trying 40 times this week. She put me on hold for 5 minutes and came back and said she found my return and said nothing was showing for an error code or a letter to be mailed. She said I was in an “overflow” batch due to the high number of filers at the start of season on 2/12. I was accepted on 2/13 but have EITC and CTC so I’m a pather.

it seems to me that other’s have been told they are in the “errors” dept so I’m not sure if she was just giving me a prepared line of BS to give to people in tax purgatory like me.

Has anyone else been told they are in an ‘overflow’ batch?
