Any updates for those who filed early and claiming EITC and ACTC?

I filed 1/14 and was accepted 1/15. Was on PATH for a while until last Saturday and I was changed to “we have received your return and it is being processed.”

I have no DD and I can’t access my transcripts because IRS can’t verify my cellular phone number for some reason.

I spoke with an IRS rep a few minutes ago and she stated that refunds won’t be released for us until 2/27 through 03/01 the latest so long as there are no issues and we have direct despot, which I am aware of. But people are saying that they have theirs coming tomorrow. I do have Netspend so I’m hoping that I get me refund earlier than that. I called them and there’s no pending deposit.

I just want to know for anyone claiming both credits did you get a DD for the 22? Or have any of you guys already gotten your refund?

Ugh it’s frustrating! The only reason I even filed early this year is because last year my daughters father claimed our child illegally. She didn’t live with him at all last year and I payed for all of her things! So now I’m out $1,500 that the IRS won’t give me because the letter I gave them doesn’t state the EXACT information they want and the people who wrote it can’t put in that information because in their eyes they don’t truly know if she lived with me for the whole year or not. She wasn’t old enough to attend school cus her birthday falls after December 4/5 and she wasn’t in Daycare long enough to provide a letter. It’s all BS.

So this year, I decided I filed early so no one else can claim her and I thought “cool, filing early so I should get my refund faster.” But nope. No such luck.

Processing date 2/18
No change on WMR or transcripts. No 846 code.
I called and the rep said I would get it 2/27. I mentioned others that have the same credits have even filed & received later. She said that there is no order they are being refunded. Irritating! We out in the effort to file earlier, and most of us because we could really use the funds. Then nothing… Bummed…

Ii have both credits, filed early 1/22, received DDD 2/22 on 2/17, received my refund today thru SBTPG into PNC bank
