I’m a weekly so today was my day for updates. Lo and behold, I’m seeing no update from last week. Still just sitting in oblivion. Filed 1/14, accepted 1/19, processed and approved 2/3.

We’re pathers but my husbands online banking was compromised after filing. We had to cancel accounts and open new ones. We called the IRS to advise of DD changes and they couldn’t do it. Instead they changed his option to paper check. The dude said he sent it already. That was on the 10th. So we’ll see if he gets the check before the DD HIT.

@FelineFrenzy
Definitely alot of misinformation but telling people that their reading comprehension is bad isnt so nice lol BUT you are absolutely correct about the early deposits. Last year I received my deposit 5 days before my DDD. 3/14 as of and the processing date DDD 3/9 but received it 3/4 on JH serve card with an advance. I think were all a little antsy and its gotten a little bad with the info over the years.

Too much misinformation given here, making people hopeful in the wrong way. Those ones revealing the truth, are not Karens. They are trying to speak what is authentic….that’s how I read it. Noone on the path will be given an 846 code until the 15th. Depends when ur transcripts update. I personally have received my deposit on the 16th before ONLY BECAUSE I use a prepaid bank account for direct deposit that gives deposit when it comes thru (earlier than DDD date/846 issue date)

If you claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), you can expect to get your refund by February 28 if:
You file your return online
You choose to get your refund by direct deposit
We found no issues with your return
However, some taxpayers may see their refunds a few days earlier. Check Where’s My Refund for your personalized refund date. Where’s My Refund should show an updated status by February 18 for most early EITC/ACTC filers. -

The IRS actually said those of us on PATH should have our direct deposits BY February 18th for the most part.. guess we just wait for the 15th & the ball will finally start to roll 🤞🏼
The IRS does seem to be on their A- Game this year tho! -

This forum is always a friendly, informative and time passing place, yet “know it all’s” like your self just can’t control your inner Karen. You enjoy insulting ppl, spreading nevative energy. If you don’t agree with a commenters info, then DON’T go by what they say. Simple. Take yourself, your “WMR” Degree and your reading comprehension to the official IRS Website. 🙏🏽✌🏽

1st off, im not a dog, so i dont wag my tongue… 2nd, the only person who needs to back up is you MR/S “I don’t know how bad your reading comprehensions are”. Does that not give off the “holier than thou” vibes u speak of? Plz Simmer down HOT SAUCE🔥. We all come here for info & you claim ppl are giving misinfo on this site.. YET, HERE YOU ARE Mr/s. Information Police. You nor your reading comp is better than anyone, I promise u.

@HeyItsMeee
It’s not an insult, it’s the truth. My point is someone “quoted” the IRS website and gave inaccurate information. So maybe back yourself up a bit, lose that Holier than Thou nonsense and read all the comments before you start wagging your tongue at me. It’s all in the context my friend.
The IRS doesn’t give exact dates on purpose, because shit happens. But people are stating blatant misinformation and saying the IRS said it.

Then why are u here if u know all this? Since you’re reading comprehension is so much better than everyone else’s🙄 & u got your info directly from “the Source “(IRS) what are u doing hanging in the “slow people section”? You’d be surprised, for years the info on HERE has proven the IRS itself unreliable. For future ref, u dnt need to insult ppl to inform them. We come here to share info, ask questions & get eachother through the dreadful PATH.

I don’t know where some of you guys get your information or how bad your reading compressions skills are but the IRS clearly states on their site that updates and direct deposits will begin to occur on Feb 18th, and your refund should be received by Feb 28th.

Filed with TurboTax on 1/23 was accepted same day, 1 bar on wmr the first time I checked it before I got path message. Didn’t get refund advance this year, chose for DD to cash app and opted to have funds taken from my refund. Viewed order details for a week and order status was payment pending. Checked this morning order status changed to payment completed. Didn’t know I could check the santana barbara thing and it shows nothing yet. Anyone else get order status change to payment completed?

I was a test batch recipient, so I’m hoping that it comes sooner than that. I thought test batchers would start seeing the refunds coming by 2/15.

If you’re daily you will update on the 16th for a DDD on 2/22 and weeklies 2/17 for a DDD on 2/23. IF you’re lucky enough to be processed right away.

The irs website says that eitc refunds will start being available on or after Feb. 28th this year. It’s disappointing , but could be worse.

846 day may be on 2/22
-
February 10, 2023 at 8:14 am #4528949Ryan W
@boxy, it’s approved just waiting on a DDD. I have all the other codes on there, just missing 846 which means it’s been processed and approved.
@felinefrenzy, the first DDD can be the 15th, doesn’t mean the code won’t pop up before then.

I’m sure he meant accepted, since there’s no updates. -
February 10, 2023 at 7:26 am #4528943Traci
Filed and accept 1/18, have got all transcripts 2 weeks ago, all codes except 846. Have the PATH message on WMR. As of Date still 2/13, no updates this morning.

February 10, 2023 at 7:26 am #4528942Boxy
It actually said your refund was approved but didn’t give you a DDD?
Are you sure you didn’t mean accepted? That isn’t the same thing.
